A stunch Asante Kotoko fan and  Business tycoon, Mr Francis Sarfo Poku popularly know as Chairman Jerry has made a handsome donation to the wife of the late Mr Asare (Dep. Equipment officer Kotoko).

Chairman Jerry initially made a donation of ghc5000 to the widow during the one week observation.

Some months after the death and burial, chairman Jerry has made another donation to the wife to cater for the children.

A donation of ghc2000 was received by the Ashanti Regional Circles council chairman Mr Obeng Sekyere Benjamin on behalf of the widow yesterday after Kotoko/Ashgold game.

The businessman further made a whooping ghc10,000 promise and more for the Porcupine team should they win the MTN FA Cup scheduled for Tamale on the 29th of October.

Chairman Jerry had a brief interview with Kotoko Portal App.

“Dr. Kyei shouldn’t be discouraged at all, because some of us are willing to offer a helping hand, should the need be."

"I’m ready to offer any support that the team will need for the final.”

"Kotoko belongs to us, we have no other team but Kotoko and once we have accepted the club belongs to us, I will do anything humanly to see them lift the cup and if they do, I will give the players 10,000 cedis”.

In addition to that, Chairman Jerry also made an emphatic statement that, he is ready to dig deep into his account for the signature of any Hearts of Oak player should Steve Polack demand for any.

"No club owns a player biologically and you buy those who are performing, so if Polack sees a player in Hearts of Oak whose style of play suits him and believes he can work with him then, I will be quick to buy him for the coach provided the player agrees to join us. I've already targeted a hearts player and negotiation are ongoing and definitely he will join us. "
