MARTIN AMIDU TO BE NAMED AS SPECIAL PROSECUTOR
Martin A. B. K. Amidu is a Ghanaian politician. He was the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice from January 2011 till January 2012. He is the man, who introduced the word ‘gargantuan’, into the lexicon of Ghanaian politics, when he opened the can of worms about the Woyome scandal which was set to be the worst financial scandal in Ghana’s fiscal history at the time.
Martin Amidu who is a member of the opposition party NDC, became a constant critics of the party when they were in power. His constant criticism also accounted for the NDC to loss power because there was a lot of corruptions going on which was draining the country financially.
The man who is referred to by many Ghanaians as Citizen Vigilante held the following positions in the then Mills government:

Jan 2010 – Jan 2011.
Information gathering is that, Martin Amidu is set to be named soon by the President of Ghana, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu Addo as the Special Prosecutor for the Republic of Ghana. A position which is first of its kind in the Ghanaian Politics.
